De Autoriteit Financiële Markten (Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets, AFM).
Just like all other Dutch pension funds, pension insurance companies and pension scheme administrators.
DNB supervises financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, pension funds). They must have sufficient assets to be able to fulfil their obligations. Moreover, DNB monitors whether financial institutions are sensible and show integrity in their work.
The AFM mainly monitors:
communication by pension funds;
compliance with the duty of care; the quality of internal supervision.
